Running is much like life.

To be clear, I am picturing more of the average folks who jog as the basis of this story, more than the accomplished athletes.

I was a decent runner/jogger for several years while in graduate school. I believe I was addicted to it. My mind back then could not tolerate missing a jog for any reason at all. Thinking about doing so gave me nauseating anxiety.

So I had to partake in my drug six days a week.
