A hair artist...I am so glad you added this to the discussion. I agree and had not thought of that. Yes I think the heart and creativity we put into something makes it an art. I am so glad that my words meant something to you...This is why I write...to have an impact.
Yes, teaching is an artform. A good teacher is a great Blessing. I was fortunate to have had a few in my life. I learn from your words. I try to follow rules, though I've gotten into my fair share of trouble for not, especially in my work in healthcare. A healer is also an artist, but capitalistic systems require quantity over quality. I guess that anytime one puts soul into the craft, it's art. I overthink sentences that I write, perhaps because of my father who taught me this. He was a teacher during his younger years then moved into supervision in the school system. Thanks for publishing your words. 🙏🏽☮️🤍🪽
Thanks so much for the nice words. This makes such a difference as to my energy level for writing and makes me feel good. Putting soul into your craft may be the best definition of art I have heard. I like it. I guess I am lucky too, I had some great teachers in college who I marveled at and inspired me to want to do what they did. I like teaching, and it is an art if one puts soul into it. I did. Of course, a person can just go through the motions and teach and not be an artist. You overthink, as well, because you care about what you say. I bet you have some fear of not communicating exactly what you mean to say. There is some balance to reach between writing exactly what comes to mind and pausing to edit yourself. I am sure you will reach it.
Yep, I spend much more time editing away the original blurbs than I do when first blurbing it out. Bringing order to the verbal chaos while maintaining the magic is a struggle. I strive for optimism, which is a challenge when considering my topic is the environment. I feel it's necessary to present the arboreal perspective, considering humans are so righteous about their dominance. Anyhow, blah blah, blah...
Your topic is great and very much needed. Oh I struggle with optimism too, but it has nothing to do with the environment. As an observer of the world, pessimism is so apparent all the time.
Like this very much. Looking forward to growing up too.
Thank you much. Yes I might grow up one day. We shall see.
I think rules exist only to make something you do better, and when the rules cannot help then it is time to ignore them.
Agree with this!
Hey it’s great to hear from you. I hope you are doing well. Thanks for reading.
Hey! Yes I'm good, just busy :)
Good.
Teaching can be art, of course, because it can inspire people! :)
I never thought a pathologically shy boy would become a teacher. It goes to show you never know what you are capable of.
A hairstylist is an artist! I was one for over 20 years. Hair is your canvas!
The grammar in writing has taken away from creativity for myself, somewhat and fuels doubt.
Poetry is an art, obviously! You are creating pictures though words.
