Strawbridge, I could have lived the remaining days I have left, and would have been content to hear about a fake extinct species. Clearly, a gap of who knows how many years does not constitute a lineage that I would consider a veritable resurrection. Next thing you know some "scientist" will make an effort to "create" the Cro Magnum or Neaderthal Man. More likely it will be the Piltdown Hoax. Bah! Humbug!
Hey Benn, I am glad you agree. But don’t say that too loud, the scientists might be listening. They are dastardly. Scientists walk around in white lab coats like movie villains. Thanks so much for reading and not taking this one too seriously. 😃
Good post. I think people in general ruin stuff when they try and put their imprint - or two cents worth - on things. Reading this reminded me of something I heard the actor Bradley Cooper say once: “don’t tell anyone anything about what you’re doing or they’ll ruin it”. 😊
Thanks for reading and commenting, Mike. This quote is outstanding. Oh it’s true as well. I like Bradley Cooper too. One of my favorite quotes comes from Vito Corleone, and is the same area as the above quote. He told his son “Never tell anyone what you’re thinking.”
I enjoyed reading your post. While I appreciate your POV I suspect science, like creativity and technology, can be used for good and bad. Without science I’d be dead and so would my husband as a Type 1 diabetic. As for the wolves, I’d prefer to know what’s true and what’s false news in a world that’s floundering in the latter, even if it means experiencing disappointment or disenchantment. Bring on the woolly mammoth though and keep the faith!
Thank you. Oh I’m kidding about science. Maybe people think I’m serious. But I hope not. I mean it’s true that scientists ruin things but we’d be in dire straits without science for sure. My family has a history of diabetes and I’m borderline diabetic.
I read about this and wondered when they would bring mammoths back too.
Now that would be very cool.
JOMO - what a cool concept!
Yes indeed. I didn’t invent it, but I have lived it as so many other people have. Thank you.

“Dire straits” - I see what you did there.
You’re good. 😊 But, in this walk of life, you meet clever people.
